How to Order

Our mail order service is for Australian residents living in Australia. Prices quoted are Australian dollars and include GST.

By Phone: A phone call is the easiest way to place a credit card order. We take MasterCard or VISA. Please telephone (02) 9818 5840 between 9am-6pm Mon- Fri or 10am-4pm Saturdays. If our office is unattended for a period of time please leave your details and we’ll return your call a.s.a.p.

By Email : Please feel free to check stock availability and place your order via email. For security do not email credit card details — please phone or post this information. Email address: info@rugsbraided.com.au

By Mail: We recommend that you phone us to check stock availability and Registered Post / courier charge to your home before posting your order to PO Box 1236, Rozelle, NSW 2039. If sending a cheque or money order, please make it payable to The Braided Rug Company, and allow an additional 3 days for a cheque to clear. Please do not mail cash.

Return Policy on mail order purchases of Floor Stock: If you are not happy with your purchase return it within 7 days of receipt and we will be pleased to exchange or refund the value of your order, less delivery charge. Registered Post / courier can only be refunded if goods are faulty or not as ordered. Returned goods must be in perfect condition with product label still attached, and re-packaged with care. Full return instructions will be enclosed with your order. NB. Please note that we do not exchange or refund rugs / accessories that have been specially ordered from the US (unless goods are faulty or not as ordered).

NB.The Over 7kg price is for rugs totalling 40 square feet. If you order is over 40 square feet we need to calculate courier charge. We courier via TNT Road Express.

Delivery: Please allow 14 days for despatch of goods in stock. If sending a cheque or money order for Floor Stock please contact us to make sure that we have what you want in stock. We can then hold that item for you.

 

Delivery by Registered Post: Small to medium size parcels are sent by Registered Post. Australia Post limits the size of parcel they will send.

Delivery by courier: Medium to large size parcels must be delivered by courier and insured against loss or damage whilst in transit. When the goods are delivered, you or someone you nominate must sign to confirm the goods have arrived in good order. Your delivery address must therefore be attended during office hours.

Postage / courier charges: include the cost of freight (based on weight or volume, whichever is greater), Registered Post fee (if your parcel is sent by post), insurance, packing and GST. Charges are subject to change without notice. We also reserve the right to individually price very large parcels.

Sydney Showroom

Our Sydney showroom is open most Saturdays between 11am-4pm. We’re at No . 9 Cook Street , Rozelle - just 5 minutes from the Anzac Bridge. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR SHOWROOM IS ONLY OPEN ON SATURDAYS and is not open at other times. If you are traveling some distance please phone ahead to make sure we will be open the Saturday you plan to visit.

We accept MasterCard / VISA and cash for all purchases made in person.

Return Policy on Floor Stock purchased in person: If you are not happy with your purchase return it within 7 days of receipt (unused, in perfection condition & with label still affixed) and we will be pleased to exchange for other rugs of the same value. Returned goods must be in perfect condition with product label still attached. NB. Please note that we do not exchange or refund rugs / accessories that have been specially ordered in from the US (unless they are faulty or not as ordered).

 

Special orders

Special order terms: Please note that on 'special' orders ie. rugs / accessories that we don't normally stock, we must request a 50% (non-refundable) deposit when we place your order with the US; the balance when your order is ready to send to you from our premises. Airfreight orders normally take around 4 weeks including manufacturing time to arrive at our premises - so allow additional time if we need to forward your order on to you. Please also note that we cannot refund or exchange pieces that we don't normally stock (unless they are faulty or not as ordered) - so you'll need to be sure of your choice. A deposit would confirm that you accept our terms and that your order is firm. If for any reason we are unable to supply, your deposit would be refunded in full.

Care instructions

  • Braided rugs are reversible for twice the wear
  • Vacuum regularly using the hard surface attachment only
  • Spot clean with carpet cleaner if soiled
  • Professionally dry clean on occasion
  • Spray extraction method using a low foam detergent can be used at home - using flat, not brush mechanism.
  • Small cmi rugs and accessories, and all 100% polypropylene rugs can be cold water, hand or machine washed, and laid flat to dry.
  • Braided rugs are durable and hardwearing but because they are assembled by hand, they sometimes require a little maintenance eg. should the stitches that hold the braids ever separate they should be repaired with a needle and strong thread. With cats or dogs - care should be taken if they have long, sharp claws or are liable to chew.
